I’m in! I read the first couple chapters this morning, but didn’t realize there was a blog to join for this, how cool is that?! We were gone over the weekend, so we weren’t able to make it for church so I’m out of the loop I guess!!
I started today =)
I started today also!
Didn’t realize that I was supposed to wait until the 22nd. Started a week ago and am enjoying the readings very much.
I am very excited to be starting this today!
I better start reading!

Getting reading for my first day’s reading! Looking forwards to it!
I’m in too!! What a fantastic way to learn from each other and find accountability with other sisters. Thanks EWO women’s ministry team for this GREAT idea!!

Just trying to log and get new posts through email.
I’m IN!
It’s great to know my sisters in Christ are all studying His word “together.” Let’s grow!
I am so excited to join with all of you in reading God’s Word!
Count me in! I love the thought of us all reading through God’s Word together!
I’ll have you know that I am pausing my study in Mark to join the E100 challenge. Very hard for my Type A personality to do…but after reading the blog, how can I not join you!
Im divin in! Thanks for the evite Gail..just dont ask me to run with you yet!
OK girls….wedding’s over, newlyweds are happy, Nathan’s back at Wheaton, my Dad’s settled back in after being gone 3 weeks, so it’s time for life as I knew it to resume. I’m a couple days late but I’m joining you all. So excited to get back into the Word without having to think about wedding details!
This will be a challenge I must sadly admit — the 100 days straight will life is quite hectic. It may be 10pm before I’m reading, but I am!
Wondering if ya’ll ponder these questions as you read the 1st 2 passages?
1. Why was all dark before Creation if God was present and He is light? Why did He have to create light?
2. How’d Adam and Eve sew their clothes? What thread and needle?
Yes, this is where my mind goes when I read. “)
Elisabeth,
Great questions to ponder! I wonder if light existed before God said, “Let there be light” in Gen 1:3 and declared it good in Gen 1:4? mMybe it was after this that light became a sign of God since it is the first thing he delcared good?? Don’t you just love that He reveals just enough about Himself that we want to know Him more, but not enough that we can figure Him out. His incomprehensibility is one of His attributes that I love the most!
As far as the question about needle and thread, maybe Adam and Eve used grass and a twig with a hole poked thru it!
Loving the journey thru God’s word,
Laura Johnson
I’m a bit late, but hope to catch up today. Looking forward to 100 wonderful days of reading with everyone!
It says contact “us” to submit a post. How do we do that?
I would like to join if it’s okay that I don’t attend EWO. It’s nice to have others to read with.
Becky,
We are happy to have you join us on this journey in God’s word! – Gail
Love this challenge and oppportunity to all read together through God’s word! Elizabeth, thanks for sharing, a few interesting thoughts came to my mind also like were we supposed to originally have been vegetarians? And, I didn’t realize Noah took 7 pairs of each clean animal and bird?! But on a deeper note, from a parenting perspective, thought it interesting that when Adam/Eve sinned…God’s response was to cause pain to the ones He loved, taking away priviledges and good things, making their work hard and setting up provisions to guard what was off limits. This was a good reminder for me when it comes to my responses to my children. And still, God did it all in love!
Lynda, I am just reading thru the comments, and I had those same thoughts
! I was thankful when I later read Gen. 9:3, where God said to Noah, “Every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you; I give all to you, as I gave the green plant.” Good news for us non-vegetarians
I started Monday. Just found this site today! I’m in.
I started early too and have been reading it with my children! What a great way to study God’s Word!
I’m another one that just found the blog tonight. What will God do in response to so many women studying His precious word together, in great anticipation? Immeasurably more than we can imagine. God bless the Ladies Ministry Team for introducing this to us.
Hi! I’m in too! I’m aso excited to see what God in soing to do in the lives of all of us who have committed to reading His Word. What a great encouragement it is to see all those names and read everyone’s comments!
I’m also in! Working on staying on track. Just found the blog. God bless our church family!
Count me in!
Count me in! I’ve been reading, just slow signing up!
Although I started on the 22nd, I just now am seeing that you can “sign up”.
You can count me in as well!
Dear sisters, I’m in and so glad to be traveling on this journey through the bible with all of you!
I’ve been reading since 8/22 but just heard about “checking in”. E100 a great idea! I have my daughter and daughter-in-law on board also, I think.
Gen 27:4 ~ Food sure gets man/woman in trouble a lot! Okay. Man/woman gets themselves in trouble from the temptation of food like in the beginning with Eve and Adam. I certainly am swayed by it. LarryBoy and the Bad Apple comes to mind. Some food for thought. Ha!
Reading away! Thankful for this great opportunity.
I am a little late signing in but better late than never. Looking forward to “speed reading” through the Bible. I love how the study is sectioned off by topics. This will help me get a better over all picture of the Scripture.
I’m late joining the blog, but not the challenge. So good to be in such good company!
Started 8/22 and finally signing in to the blog.
I have loved having this structured guided reading to keep me in the Word each day. Sometimes, it is hard not to read ahead.
I’m in too.
Hi– I’ve been doing the reading; just saw this sign-up and thought I’d add my name to the list. In Christ’s love, Pam.
I’m taking the challenge. My husband, Mark, is too. What a great review of the Bible and God’s story of redemption. He is GOOD!
Have been reading from day 1.
